The “Mega Grand World Hanoi Entertainment Universe” was launched in December 2023 with much anticipation. With significant investment and a range of new entertainment activities, this entertainment universe offers unique experiences to visitors. It is a high-class commercial service and entertainment complex located in Vinhomes Ocean Park 3, right at the gateway to the capital city of Hanoi, with convenient transportation connections via the Hanoi – Hai Phong expressways, National Highway 5B, Ring Road 3.5, and Ring Road 4. This facilitates convenient travel for both city center visitors and those from neighboring provinces to ‘Mega Grand World Hanoi Entertainment Universe.

Chodai & Kiso-Jiban Vietnam Company Limited collaborated with Hoa Phong E&C Investment and Development Joint Stock Company to complete the impressive architectural design for these two bridges in a very short time under immense pressure from the schedule set by the investor, Vingroup. The author team consists of experienced architects who have won high awards in architectural competitions, led by Chief Architect Phan Anh Tuan and Architect Nguyen Duc Thang

The team of architects received the design request in early March 2024, immediately following the Lunar New Year holiday. Within one month, the team had to propose and finalize the entire concept for the two pedestrian bridges, meaning they had only about two weeks to complete one bridge.

The team of architects worked efficiently to meet the tight schedule set by Vingroup. To ensure the outlined plan, Mr. Ho Thai Hung, the CEO of CKJVN, also invited additional partner units such as NH Village Architects led by Architect Tran Dai Nghia, and Niwa Architects – a Japanese architectural firm – to collaborate. A representative from the investor’s side stated that Mega Grand World Hanoi is a unique model in Vietnam, offering a ‘4-experience platform’ for visitors. Firstly, there is the convenient transportation experience with over 100 free Vinbus trips daily from the city center, Noi Bai Airport, and neighboring provinces. Secondly, there is the upscale shopping experience with hundreds of world-famous brands. Thirdly, there is the high-class entertainment experience with top-notch artistic performances and exciting entertainment games. Lastly, there is the convergence of East and West culinary cultures, providing a gourmet culinary experience.

Even from just the brief insights shared by the architectural team, we can already grasp the importance of the two bridges they were tasked to realize. After a week of thorough research and consideration, the investor finalized the proposal presented by the architectural team to move on to the next phase of refining the concept. In reality, refining the concept is the most intense and challenging phase in the battle with the investor because Vingroup’s requirements are extremely demanding and strict. However, with a sense of responsibility and high professionalism, the efforts of the architectural team seem to have been rewarded.

The East-West Bridge: From Preliminary Stage to Concept Completion

The Wave Bridge: From Preliminary Stage to Concept Completion

Through the above sharing, we can see the spirit of responsibility and effort of the architectural team in line with CKJVN’s motto: ‘We Value Trust.’ Now, let’s together admire how CKJVN’s masterpiece bridge duo has made waves at Mega Grand World Hanoi Entertainment Universe over the past time.

The East-West Bridge – Connecting K-Town and The Venice Districts

The East-West Bridge draws inspiration from classical architecture, with a harmonious design, serving as a symbolic ‘bridge’ between The Venice district (representing the prosperous West) and K-Town (symbolizing the rich cultural heritage of the East). The bridge spans 12.6 meters wide (including flower beds on both sides) across the Ring Road 3.5, serving as a distinctive highlight of Mega Grand World Hanoi Entertainment Universe. Upon arrival, visitors can experience the fusion of cultures from East Asia and Southern Europe (Korea – Italy) within just a few steps. Additionally, the bridge is equipped with elevators for the convenience of movement for residents and tourists between the romantic Venice district and the vibrant K-Town. The bridge features pedestrian walkways and seating areas for relaxation and scenic views, adorned with colorful flower gardens.

Moreover, the East-West Bridge is also an incredibly fascinating spot to witness the sunrise. Every morning, gazing at the sun rising over the bustling and romantic scenery of Grand World from the vantage point of the bridge is sure to captivate you. Furthermore, with its sophisticated and modern design, imbued with European style, this bridge is undoubtedly a must-visit virtual living space for photo enthusiasts.

The East-West Bridge adorns itself with a different appearance thanks to its grand and modern artistic lighting system, creating a sparkling, romantic, and sophisticated space.

The Wave Bridge – Connecting K-Town and Vincom Mega Mall

The synchronized transportation system at Mega Grand World Hanoi

The Wave Bridge spans across Coral Boulevard, connecting the lively Korean Town district with the bustling Vincom Mega Mall shopping center. Inspired by the convergence of ocean waves, its soft and gentle shape creates a continuous sense of movement, symbolizing the constant development rhythm of the Mega Grand World Hanoi urban area.

The Wave Bridge features a Bordeaux red tone, adding a touch of elegance and charm, much like a beautiful woman in a glamorous evening gown. The bridge offers pedestrian walkways and seating areas for residents and tourists to relax and enjoy the scenery. The bridge’s Instagrammable spots, with their impressive views of the modern-styled wave curves, seem to playfully interact with the vast ocean waves.

At night, the Wave Bridge is illuminated by colorful lights, creating a dazzling, enchanting beauty and an ideal experience for you and your family as you stroll here.

When visiting and checking in at Mega Grand World Hanoi Entertainment Universe, you will surely be amazed by the beauty and grandeur of the two world-class pedestrian bridges here. And don’t forget, this is a ‘Made in CKJVN’ product !
