In Hai Phong, Vietnam, an increasing number of Japanese companies are concentrated in industrial zones, such as Nomura and VSIP. In particular, VSIP (invested by Singapore) is a large-scale complex of industrial parks and urban areas that is expected to become a new center of Hai Phong in the near future. That requires an adequate urban infrastructure, including transport infrastructure.
