Operation mechanism:

• The waste is mixed with the biological media and evenly heated through the heating system and turning axis;

• The temperature vaporized water in the mixture, created conditions for rapid decomposition of microorganisms;

• Do not use water & wastewater discharge into the environment.

Some aspects of Bio-toilet system development project in Vietnam

Bio-toilet system used for the carriages of Vietnam Railway National Corporation – Vietnam Railways is the product of the process of elaborate research, design and manufacture of Chodai – Japan., Ltd from 2011 to now.

With the supports of the Japanese Ministry of Environment (MOE), the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), Bio-toilet equipment  was manufactured, installed and have successful trial operation by Chodai Co., Ltd on the carriage Bn 21501 of Vietnam Railway National Corporation from December 2013 to now with more than 35,000 passengers use the equipment.

These equiment was accepted and put into operation by Vietnam Railway National Corporation. It ensures that all technical aspects and train operation safety. Morever, with the advantages of a dry technology, no use of water, no generation of wastewater, Bio-toilet system D50 completely meets the strict standards of wastewater discharge standards to enviroment of the Ministry of the Transportation.
